I have always been intrigued by building and design.  From working around the house with my Dad, I was inspired to start drafting classes, then Computer Aided Design, and ultimately building and remodeling.  I have come to appreciate homes in their original element, as well as homes with new ideas and design.  They are all inspiring in their own way, big, small, old and new.

I began my construction career in North Lake Tahoe in 1994 building luxury homes as an apprentice carpenter.  From the bottom up, I learned to cultivate the art of fine craftsmanship.  After returning to my hometown on the Peninsula, I became a licensed General Contractor and established CB Builders in 1999.

I have since moved to Santa Cruz, started a family and begun to look at the greater picture in this ever changing world.  I believe in doing the right thing, no matter what the short term effect may be.  I believe every step in life can make a difference and set out every day to make that difference.
